Snamprogetti wins Saudi contract

Eni, through Snamprogetti, has won a turnkey contract for the construction at the Ras Tanura refinery of a new plant for the production of naphtha, LPG, kerosene and light and heavy diesel.

The plant was commissioned by Saudi company Saudi Aramco and will be able to produce 200,000 barrels a day. The project, which Snamprogetti won in competition with leading international operators, will last 24 months and involves the detailed engineering, purchase of materials, construction and pre-commissioning activities.
