The Stainless Steel Bar Operations of Slater Steel Inc. have announced a price increase of approximately 3% on their stainless steel round products effective with orders placed after 15 March 2002, and on all shipments beginning 15 April 2002. In addition, there has been a price increase of approximately 5% on stainless steel angle products effective with orders placed after 11 March 2002, and on all shipments beginning 15 April 2002.
