Sino Gas appoints new CEO

Sino Gas & Energy Holdings appointed Glenn Corrie as the CEO. Sino Gas also announced the upcoming succession of current Non-Executive Director Philip Bainbridge to the role of non-executive chairman effective September 2014, when the current Chairman, Gavin Harper, will transition to a non-executive director role.
 

Corrie previously held the position of Commercial and Business Development Director with Ophir Energy. He was the senior executive responsible for all corporate development initiatives including executing the portfolio growth strategy. Bainbridge was appointed to the Board of Sino Gas in April this year. He brings a wealth of oil and gas experience from six years as executive general manager for Oil Search and 23 years with the BP Group across a variety of technical and commercial roles.
