Siemens wins North American business

Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. has received an order from North American Stainless for addition of an extension to the existing meltshop substation. The extension will feed a new bar mill scheduled for completion in early 2003. Siemens built the main substation for the original meltshop in 2000. The project will be managed by Siemens at its facility in Alpharetta, Ga. North American Stainless, Carrollton, Kentucky, is one of three US plants owned by Spain’s Acerinox Group.
