Siemens awarded major orders in Brazil

Siemens Power Generation (PG) has been awarded two contracts from Brazil for a total of 17 compressor trains. Brazilian oil major Petrobras is to install six gas-turbine-driven compressors in a gas treatment plant in the state of Espirito Santo. PG is to deliver a further 11 compressor trains to the Brazilian company Transportadora Gasene S.A. for installation in three pipeline stations along the Brazilian coast. Total order value for Siemens, including spare parts and associated services for erection & commissioning, is approximately EUR75 million.
