Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a contract from Heurtey Petrochem SA, (France) to provide engineering services for a new hydrogen plant generation unit at the Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) refinery. The NIS refinery is located in Pancevo, Serbia and is under a license from Haldor Topsoe. Jacobs’ scope of work for the project includes detailed engineering services which will be executed from their offices in India. The engineering of the new plant is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Officials did not disclose the contract value, however indicated that the total installed cost of the project is estimated at EUR 70 million.
