Seminar on SS finishes

Construction professionals visiting Interbuild on Tuesday 27 April have the opportunity to attend at 11.30 am a one-hour free RIBA CPD seminar “Selecting and Specifying Stainless Steel Finishes”. This seminar, presented by the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA), will initially outline the surface finishing treatments adopted to restore optimum corrosion resistance, following thermal and mechanical processing. It will also highlight the increasing variety of finishes such as electroplated, textured, coloured, embossed or mirror plated which makes stainless steel such a versatile yet durable architectural metal. (Interbuild will be held at the NEC, Birmingham, UK, from 25–29 April 2004.)
