The SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH International Sales & Services network is expanding its presence in the South American market opening a new site in Argentina. Based in Buenos Aires, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Argentina will now drive forward the sales of special long steel products in the country. By taking this strategic step, the Group is expanding its sales network to what is already the fourth country in South America. Alongside Argentina, it already has offices, warehouses and services centers in Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
The full range of tool steel, stainless steel and engineering steel long product from the SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group mills Ascometal, Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Finkl Steel, Swiss Steel, Steeltec and Ugitech is now available to the Argentinian market. With its portfolio, the Group is appealing primarily to companies from the automotive, plastic, food and beverage, as well as the oil and gas industries. In line with the diverse demands of its target group, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH offer a wealth of very different special long steel products, such as high-alloyed or stainless-steel long products.
An experienced team has already started working at the new sales and services center location in Buenos Aires. This includes cutting machines for processing of customer-specific orders and an initial inventory of tool steel products. In South America, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH International is already represented in Brazil, Chile and Colombia. With the new branch in Argentina, it is now expanding its sales network on the continent with a fourth country.
