SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH B.V. and SCHMOLZ+BICKENBACH Belgium SA have joined the Jacquet Metal Service group and are now part of IMS group, a European network of special steels distributors of engineering steels, tool steels, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys.
This acquisition is a geographic extension of IMS group, a brand strongly implanted in Southern Europe, that now relies on the strength and experience of several SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH companies in The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Germany: SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Distributions GmbH, Günther + Schramm GmbH, Dr. Mertens GmbH, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Austria GmbH, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH B.V. and SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Belgium S.A.
The companies are will benefit from the support of a major group with an international presence and acknowledged expertise in their specific field.
The team, product and services offer, coordinates and legal details remain unchanged. The companies now go under the names of IMS Schmolz+Bickenbach B.V. and IMS Schmolz+Bickenbach Belgium SA and will adopt the visual identity of the IMS brand.
