Schmidt + Clemens presents new materials

High-grade steel specialist Schmidt + Clemens will present its broad range of its services and efficiency at the Hannover Messe. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the new “Marker A 59”. The development’s basis is the licensing agreement with Europe’s biggest manufacturer of nickel-based alloys. A comprehensive test programme in consideration of production processes finally led to the qualification according to the strict German VGB-regulations. Qualification in the USA according to ASTM-standards was also initiated. The cast material’s potential lies in sectors like chemical, environmental and energy technology and of course in marine engineering, offshore production and specialised shipbuilding. In addition, at the joint booth “cast technology” S+C will present exemplary parts of mould-, fine- and centrifugal casting for various industrial applications.
