Sandvik will demonstrate the versatility and controlled hardness of the Sandvik tube at the Tube 2016, in order to set a standard of its own for easy bending and leak free connections of the companyâs hydraulic and instrumentation tubing.
âWe are sure the demonstrations and the fact that people can have a go at bending the tube themselves will raise awareness of the quality of our products as well as show the marked difference in weight and strength between material grades,â?explained Haydn Eagle, Sandvik Regional Sales Manager EMEA, Tube.
âAt Tube 2016 we will also be announcing the addition of an austenitic nickel-chromium material grade to our stock programme bringing with it operational benefits to customers installing equipment in harsh conditions.â? âDiscussions on the challenges of pitting, cracking and stress corrosion and how better alloys, duplex steels and top end austenitic alloys across our tube portfolio can help drive out corrosion in order to optimize plant operational productivity.â?
âThe aim is to clearly demonstrate our ability to provide customers with pioneering, market leading solutions that not only bring increased operational benefits, but also provide true operational cost savings over the life of the equipment in which they are installed, âadded Haydn Eagle.
