Product Specialist Bheru Shankar will take on a new role within the sales team at Sandvik’s Middle East office. Originally joining the company in 2006 as a production technologist in Cold Production at the tube plant in Mehsana, India, Shankar later became responsible for supply chain management. He has gained expertise in a variety of functions including sales, logistics, export documentation, projects and order process management.

In his new position, Bheru will be working with internal sales and product – applications development. “The addition of Bheru to the already experienced sales team will further enhance our customer support, particularly in view of his wealth of experience in tube production, logistics, application knowledge and order handling”, said James Doughty, Sandvik sales manager – MENA region for Tube, Core and Standard Products.
