Sandvik opens Asian headquarters

Sandvik has opened its regional headquarters for oil and gas tube in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia is one of the largest and most dynamic oil and gas producers in Southeast Asia. The industry contributes between 20 to 30% to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

With an increase in optimism returning to the international oil and gas industry, Sandvik recognises the growth potential of the Asian region, led by countries such as Malaysia, and the opportunities it could bring to the industry on a global scale.

The service centre is Sandvik’s third globally, with the other two located in Houston (USA) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

The launch event for the new headquarters was held at Sandvik’s booth at the OTC Asia 2018 conference and exhibition.
