Sandvik Inc. will expand its Mebane plant in North Carolina, USA, investing USD 85 million and adding 51 jobs during the next three years. The facility in Mebane currently employs 160 people and specializes in manufacturing drilling and cutting tools. The expansion will be supported in part by a USD 150,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund, which provides financial assistance through local governments to attract business projects.
