Sandvik Coromant cuts 250 staff in Sweden

Sandvik Coromant will initiate negotiations with the local organisation of the Swedish Metalworkers’ Union regarding a surplus of about 250 persons at the plants in Gimo. The notice period is six months. This action was considered necessary in response to the the weakening of the world economy.
