Sandmeyer Steel Co. has announced the appointment of DK Corp. (DKC) as the Company’s Representative Office and Sales Support Center in Korea. Located in Seoul, DKC will assist Sandmeyer Steel in penetrating the Korean and Japanese markets for stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products, focusing on profile shapes, smaller quantities, and sizes and grades not produced by DKC. Founded in 1990, DKC is Korea’s only stainless steel plate producing company, primarily producing commodity grades 304, 304L, 316L, 321, 347, and duplex grades, from 8 to 80mm in thickness for the petrochemical, food processing, nuclear, construction, LNG, LPG, and desalinization industries.
