RathGibson, a manufacturer of precision welded, welded and drawn, and seamless stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing, has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 management system and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) certifications for its North Branch, New Jersey manufacturing plant. ISO 9001:2000 management system certification was given to RathGibson in recognition for their effective implementation of documentation and records management, top administration’s commitment to customers, clear policy establishment, effectual planning and implementation, well-organized resource management, and efficient process control, measurement, and analysis. PED 97/23/EC 7/2, Annex I, Paragraph 4.3 was also awarded. This European Union certification is given to manufacturers who have demonstrated high levels of safety and quality management systems for high-pressure vessels.
