RasGas Company Limited was awarded the Innovation Award for its “Safety Ambassador” program during the Qatar Petroleum Industrial Oil and Gas Awards 2011. QP awarded various companies for industrial safety excellence. This is the second consecutive year RasGas has received QP Industrial Oil and Gas Awards.
RasGas Managing Director, Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi said that safety and health are core elements of RasGas’ business philosophy. “RasGas considers the development of safety and health awareness amongst young people as a necessary life skill. RasGas developed the Safety Ambassador program in collaboration with the British Safety Council and senior students from Al Khor International School.” said Mohannadi.
