INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has announced that its subsidiary PT INPEX Renewable Energy Indonesia (IREI) was established to manage renewable energy projects and promote the development of new business primarily in Indonesia.
Through IREI, INPEX aims to enhance its involvement in existing projects, including the Sarulla Geothermal Power Project through INPEX Geothermal Sarulla Ltd., the Muara Laboh Geothermal Power Project, the Rantau Dedap Geothermal Power Project, and the Rajabasa Geothermal Power Project through INPEX Geothermal Ltd. Additionally, INPEX seeks to further strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector in Indonesia and create opportunities to unlock new business areas.
INPEX expects the establishment of IREI to contribute to the diversification of its power portfolio as outlined in INPEX Vision 2035, announced in February 2025. INPEX is also committed to further strengthening its business in Indonesia and will continue to actively engage in this effort.
