Project in Pakistan

Pakistan’s Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd has received government approval for its USD 250 million “Gas Infrastructure Development Project,” a company spokesman said Tuesday. The project covers laying 367 miles of 16â€? to 36â€? high-pressure gas transmission pipeline from Sui to Multan and Multan to Peshawar, he said. The line will pick up 420,000 cu ft of gas from the newly discovered Zamzama and Sawan fields along with additional inputs from Qadirpur and Sui fields and deliver it to independent power producers in Multan.
