The Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG adopted a resolution at its meeting to appoint Professor Dr.-Ing. Heinz Joerg Fuhrmann as Chairman of the Executive Board for a second five-year term of office, which will commence on July 1, 2016.
Professor Fuhrmann has held senior positions at the Salzgitter Group since 1995. He became an associate member of the Group’s Executive Board in 1996 and a full member in 1997. Over the years Professor Fuhrmann was Chief Financial Officer and from 2007 served as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Salzgitter AG in this position. He was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Salzgitter AG on February 1, 2011.
