The new ProcessMate 3000 Linear Axis Work Station (LAW) is a precision positioning system used to control solder paste dispensing and reflow. Designed to replace slow, inconsistent manual wire soldering processes, the EFD LAW provides repeatability, precision and process stability for solder paste dispensing and heating operations, without the implementation of costly robotics. The ProcessMate 3000 consists of a dispensing and heating system attached to timed, air-actuated linear slides with adjustable dispensing angles, height, and stroke – mimicking an assembly robot’s precision and process stability. Multiple configurations can be assembled to suit individual application requirements, including many EFD products such as air-dispensing systems, auger valves, valve controllers, and more.
