Pro+ disk at chem show

Rupture disk manufacturer Oseco will be exhibiting pressure relief technology at the chemical processing industry’s Chem show, held on 1-3 November at the Javits Convention Center, New York, New York. The highlight of Oseco’s exhibit will be the Pro+ (precision reverse operating) disk, a disk that protects personnel, equipment, productivity and the environment in chemical applications. The disk’s 95% operating ratio guards against fatigue and premature disk rupture in applications with high operating to set ratios. Burst pressures from 8 to 750psig are suitable for uses in applications of high to low pressure environments. The one-piece design is scored on the vent side to provide a smooth surface to the process, preventing chemical buildup. The disk also provides environmental protection, preventing fugitive emissions to the atmosphere when used as relief valve isolation. The disk is available in stainless steel, nickel, Inconel, and Monel. Hastelloy construction and fluoro-polymer liners are available for highly corrosive chemical applications.
