The National Subsea Research Institute (NSRI) has appointed David Pridden as their CEO. Pridden is a well known of the UK’s subsea community through his championship of the Subsea 2020 vision when he was the inaugural CEO of Subsea UK. He is credited as being the initial driving force behind the idea which led to the formation of NSRI. The National Subsea Research Institute is a partnership between the UK’s subsea industry and a group of universities. Its main focus is to raise the level of research funding in the UK’s subsea industry, helping the country become established as a globally recognized hub of excellence for the development of subsea technology.
