Pressure transmitter for severe applications

Dwyer Instruments Inc. has announced the release of the Series 682 industrial Pressure Transmitter. The Series 682 is designed to withstand environmental effects such as shock, vibration, extreme temperatures and EMI/RFI. Enclosed in a welded stainless steel housing, the electronics and capacitive sensor meet NEMA 4 (IP65) protection rating. The unit features external zero and span adjustments and reverse polarity protection. The Series 682 has a temperature range of –4 to 176 F, an accuracy of +/- 0.13% FS, supply voltage of 9-30VDC, and a 4-20mA output. It also has a ¼â€? NPT (M) pressure connection and a 2-foot multi-conductor cable electrical connection. The Series 682 delivers high performance in tough applications such as off-road equipment, hydraulic systems, compressor controls, industrial engines, and industrial refrigeration. It is available in different models, ranging from 0–25 psi to 0–10,000 psi.
