The new UPA21 electronic pressure transmitter from Barksdale Control Products features a piezoresistive sensor and is available in pressure ranges of 0-5bar up to 0-400bar and an accuracy of +/-0.5%. The transmitter is housed in a stainless steel body, and is operable in temperature ranges –25C to +80C. Suitable for use in remote locations, the UPA21 provides a 4-20mA analogue output, which can be fed back to a PLC or higher-level process control system and will operate with 8 to 28V DC supply.
