Pressure switch has four relay contacts

Barksdale has introduced the UDS 3, a new generation electronic pressure switch with four relay contacts based on a piezo-resistive pressure measuring cell with a stainless-steel diaphragm. Increasing demands regarding process quality require devices with ever higher precision. Furthermore there is the requirement to receive measurement values faster on the one hand and the need to have multifunctional devices on the other hand. The new generation electronic pressure switch UDS 3 with four relay contacts from Barksdale is the result of these developments. It achieves an accuracy of 0.5% referring to the end value of the range of measurement (measurement range 0-10bar and 0-600bar relative pressure) and a data measurement within 1ms. The unit is based on a piezo-resistive pressure measuring cell with a stainless-steel diaphragm. The UDS 3 has an 8-digit alphanumeric LCD display, 12mm high.
The sensor is regulated by microprocessors with continuous self-diagnosis, and indicates any error messages as plain text. All parameters can be programmed via its foil keypad. Should the user wish, the measured engineering units may easily changed (for example to pounds per square inch) with just a few finger strokes on the keypad. The UDS 3 suitable for industrial environments in hydraulic, pneumatic, industries, plant manufacturing and automobile industry.
