The AST 4000 family of stainless-steel all-media isolated pressure sensors from American Sensor Technologies provides high-accuracy measurement of hostile media, such as corrosive liquids and gases. These strain gauge pressure sensors are designed for industrial OEM equipment, hydraulic controls, data loggers, energy and water management and pressure instrumentation. The units feature a one-piece bulkhead design that keeps hazardous media out of the control box while eliminating the use of adapters. The high strength stainless steel construction contains no silicone oil, no welds, and no internal O-rings, offering a full hermetic seal against the media. They provide gauge, sealed gauge or compound gauge pressure measurement in ranges up to 10,000lb/in2 and are available with outputs of 10mV/V, 0.5-4.5V ratiometric, 1-5V, 1-6V, 0.25-5V or 4-20mA.
