Powergen for Europe and Africa

Sofresid and Black & Veatch Corporation have formed a strategic partnership. The alliance, called BVBOS, will provide engineering and construction services for large gas-fuelled power generation facilities in Western and Central Europe and the continent of Africa. BVBOS brings together Bouygues Offshore’s experience in turn-key project management and widespread coverage of Europe and Africa, with Black & Veatch’s experience in the design, procurement, project management and construction of power plants. Bouygues Offshore’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Sofresid, will provide energy production capabilities for the alliance’s projects. BVBOS will focus on design and construction of gas-fuelled open cycle, combined cycle and combined heat power plants with a capacity of more than 200mw.
