Power at Hanging Rock

Duke/Fluor Daniel has been awarded a contract by Duke Energy North America to provide turn-key engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the 1240mw Hanging Rock Energy Facility in Lawrence County, Ohio, USA. The natural gas-fuelled facility will feature two pairs of General Electric 7 FA combustion turbine generators operating in combined cycle with two General Electric class D11 steam turbine generators. Commercial operation is scheduled for summer 2003. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
