Goudsmit Magnetic Supplies B.V. from Waalre, The Netherlands, introduces ceramic and samarium-cobalt pot magnets equipped with a stainless steel casing. These magnets are resistant to chemicals and high temperatures and used in processes where special hygiene requirements apply. By using a PPS plastic, these pot magnets can, for example, be used during galvanising, before mounting parts. Application is also possible in combination with vacuum systems, because the plastic seals the air gap between the casing and the magnet.
