Possible stainless plant in China

Taiwan-based Formosa Plastics Group is planning to invest TWD 32 billion to build a 750,000tns stainless steel factory located in the Zhangzhou region of China’s Fujian Province. It is expected to be operational after three years with construction starting sometime later this year. Formosa is also planning to invest TWD 130 billion to build a 7.5 million tonnes per year steel mill in southern Yunlin County in Taiwan, but it is still pending government approval.
