Possible cold rolling mill

Acerinox has concluded a study on a project to build a plant, probably a cold rolling mill, in India, in a joint venture with its Japanese partner Nisshin Steel. The confirmation to build the plant comes after widespread rumours in the market suggested that Acerinox was close to embarking on a plan to build a plant on India’s west coast in partnership with Japan-based Nisshin or India-based Jindal Stainless. According to a spokesman from Acerinox, Acerinox has held talks with other companies. It is still not clear whether the talks have included possible participation in the Indian project.
