Posco raise stainless prices

Posco, one of the world’s largest producers of stainless steel, will hike domestic prices of its products from 15 February. The increase is in line with the global rise in raw material and steel prices. Posco will raise prices of hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel and stainless plates by between 4.8% and 6.4%, depending on size, said a company official, who declined to be named. Earlier, Posco said it will hike the domestic price of its hot-rolled steel sheets by 6% to KRW 355,000 won a metric ton from 10 February.
