Sandvik has appointed Jari Ponsiluoma as Product Manager for Heat Exchanger and Fertilizer, Tube, EMEA.
In this role, Ponsiluoma will be responsible for setting strategies aligned with the global corporation to drive new customer and product development activities in EMEA. This will promote the growth and healthy profitability of Sandvik.
Ponsiluoma has more than 10 years of experience working at Sandvik. In 2010, he was appointed as Global Product Manager for Business Unit Automotive. Over the next 10 years, he was responsible for the launch of PRESSURFECT™ and PRESSURFECT XP™, as well as tubing for the next generation of high-pressure Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) systems.
In 2018, Ponsiluoma joined Ovako Group as a Product Line Manager for Powertrain (Automotive and Marine). He recently returned to Sandvik in 2020 as he was given the opportunity to pursue challenging business areas and develop Sandvik’s position within premium segments.
Ponsiluoma has years of experience within product management at Sandvik, which makes him familiar with the complex business negotiations and business development process. He has a strong business acumen and aims to get involved in R&D projects to drive change for customers.
