SMC Pneumatics’ new Series MXJ miniature double-acting pneumatic air slide table is suitable for applications where micro size is required, such as positioning, clamping and lightweight work-piece transfer. The slide table is offered in three bore sizes – 8mm, 6mm and 4.5mm model – with heights from 10mm. With rigid mounting surfaces, due to the use of an L shaped hardened stainless steel slide table, running on a non-circulating linear guide, incorporating steel balls, even in its smallest size two auto switches can be rail mounted with ease. Both piping ports and switch rails can be ordered on either sides and further standard options include stroke adjuster, axial piping and clean room specifications.
