The European Powder Metallurgy Association announces a new series of Training Courses on Powder Metallurgy for young Materials and Design engineers. The first of these Training Courses is to be held at Aachen Technical University, Aachen, Germany, from 3-11 September 2005. The programme will be divided into two main parts: firstly, a one-week Summer School, a mixture of formal presentations, lectures and group workshops, and secondly, one of two Short Courses of two days’ duration, focusing on a key area of the industry in more depth. The courses will be presented in English and will provide a valuable opportunity to improve attendees’ knowledge of the current status of PM technology.
