Plasma-arc cutting of stainless steels

Kjellberg Finsterwalde has demonstrated its HiFocus 160i plasma cutting unit at EuroBLECH. This unit, which comes with a cutting table, uses the company’s HiFocusPLUS in order to achieve smooth, straight and dross-free cutting surfaces that can be used for further processes without rework. This technology, characterised by an optimised plasma arc generating system of the plasma torch, aims to improve the angularity of the cut and is predestined for bevel cutting of three-dimensional parts. It is now also applicable for stainless steels.
