Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB) has appointed Datuk Adif Zulkifli as its chairman.
It noted that Adif was the executive vice president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the upstream business, “where he oversaw the strategic direction and operations in oil and gas exploration, production, and development across more than 20 countries, as well as carbon management.”
Adif joined Petronas in 1993 as a reservoir engineer and has since held various leadership roles, including EVP and CEO of the gas and new energy business, senior vice president of development and production upstream business, and senior vice president of corporate strategy.
He is also an active member of the petro-technical community, having served as chairman of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Council and a member of the international advisory committee for Offshore Technology Conference Asia.
