Personnel change on ThyssenKrupp’s board

The Personnel Committee of the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG has recommended Guido Kerkhoff to the Supervisory Board, after deciding that he should be appointed a member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG. If approved, he will succeed Dr. Alan Hippe who is leaving the Executive Board at his own request, effective 31 March 2011. Kerkhoff is currently a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG. His appointment is subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG, as they must all agree to the premature cancellation of Kerkhoff’s contract. If approved, the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG will pass a corresponding resolution to appoint Kerkhoff.
