Pelican Energy Partners appoint new CEO

Pelican Energy Partners has appointed David McLaurin as President and CEO for the Performance Wellhead & Frac Components team.

David will replace Lee Rowe, a Pelican Operating Partner, who has done a stellar job after stepping into the role last year. David will start his new position immediately and he brings a wealth of experience in oilfield service to the company. Lee will continue as Chairman of the Board at Performance and will continue to advise the new CEO.

David began his career working offshore in the US Gulf of Mexico on a jackup drilling rig. From the Gulf, David moved into the wireline business as a cased hole engineer for NL McCullough and Schlumberger. He spent the next 30 years with Schlumberger as a District Engineer in Houma, LA, Product Champion in Tulsa, OK, Sand Control/Completions Operations Manager in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Sr. Petroleum Engineer and Development Manager, Integrated Project Management in Aberdeen, Scotland, General Manager in Kazakhstan, Marketing and Sales Manager in Moscow, IPM Manager in Cape Town, South Africa, and finally various sales and management positions in Houston and Denver. In 2013, David joined Allied Oil & Gas Services as President & CEO.

David hails from Hattiesburg, Mississippi and is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. We are very happy to have someone with David’s background and leadership ability to join our team.
