Paul Meijering in Arctic Challenge Tour 2016

Dutch stainless steel tube, plate and fittings distributor Paul Meijering will take part in the Arctic Challenge Tour 2016 under the team name ICE Brothers (team 12). Many teams use The Arctic Challenge to raise money for a charity of choice. The team ICE Brothers will use the tour to raise money for charity – ‘Cliniclowns’ which focuses on helping children in hospital. The 14th edition of The Arctic Challenge kicks off on January 10, 2016 in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands and will end on January 17, 2016. In the autumn of 2015, participants begin their preparations. The team ICE Brothers is looking for sponsors.

The Arctic Challenge is a challenging tour for passenger cars across Scandinavia, where participants are challenged individually and the team will have to deal with fatigue, adversity and harsh conditions. The Arctic Challenge lasts a total of eight days in which participants travel 6000-7000 kilometers to a destination that lies beyond the Arctic Circle.

Participants will be confronted with harsh conditions such as large amounts of snow, icy roads and temperatures below -40 ℃. A good preparation, cooperation and camaraderie are essential to bring this challenge to a successful conclusion.
