Parsley Energy appoints Chief Operating Officer

Parsley Energy, Inc. recently announced the appointment of David Dell’Osso as Executive Vice President-Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Dell’Osso will succeed Matt Gallagher, who will remain President of the Company until his previously announced appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, which is expected to occur on January 1, 2019. Mr. Dell’Osso will assume responsibility for company-wide development, production, and engineering functions.

We are confident that he will help our teams build on the positive momentum we’ve established towards operational execution and excellence.”

Prior to joining Parsley, Mr. Dell’Osso was employed by South-western Energy Company, where for the last 13 years he served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, including, at the time of his departure, Senior Vice President & General Manager of the Northeast Appalachia Division.

Mr. Dell’Osso earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
