Akkadian Energy is undertaking a 300MW power generation project in the Sundar Industrial Estate, which would start functioning in 2009. A delegation of Akkadian Energy Ltd called on Mr Mohammedmian Soomro caretaker Prime Minister, which was led by Mr Rozz Connelly MD of Akkadian. Mr Soomro said that the interim government is working with a focused approach to ensure continuity and consistency of economic policies and is taking numerous steps to meet the rising demand of energy in the country by undertaking new projects as well as through conservation.
