Siemens Energy & Automation introduces its new Sitrans P300 pressure transmitter, with a stainless steel housing and a measuring cell that is flush with the front panel. The transmitter is suitable for process temperatures up to 200C and is available with the full range of sanitary connections in accordance with FDA, 3-A, and EHEDG recommendations. Common industrial process connections, such as NPT and ASME flanges, are also available. The Sitrans P300 instrument can be installed locally using three keys and a display. Diagnostics and simulation functions permit quick start-up of measuring circuits to help avoid plant downtime. The pressure transmitter parameters can be set using Siemens Simatic PDM software and an integral Hart or Profibus-PA interface.
