Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. announced that P. Kelly Tompkins, executive VP and CEO, will retire at the end of December.
Tompkins assumed his current position in January, 2017, after serving as executive VP and CFO for the past two years. Tompkins has been instrumental in Cliffs’ turn-around during some of the most challenging times in the iron and steel industry.
Tompkins has held various executive vice president roles overseeing business development, legal, strategy, environment, government affairs and communications roles since he joined the company in 2010.
