Outotec to deliver plant in China

Outotec Oyj has signed a contract with Baiyin Non Ferrous Group for the design and delivery of a precious metals plant in Gansu Province, China. The contract value is EUR 6 million. Outotec’s scope includes basic engineering, proprietary equipment and services on site. The plant is expected to be operational during the first half of 2011 and it will treat annually 4000 metric tons of both copper and lead anode slimes in a Kaldo furnace.
