OSEA2004 attracted 9109 trade visitors this year. A significant increase in visitors was noted from Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Altogether, OSEA2004 hosted 940 participants from 46 countries and group pavilions from Australia, Germany, Italy, Norway, UK and USA. Exhibitors, visitors and delegates at the show left on the last day after maximising business opportunities in the region from potential leads secured at OSEA2004. The government of Timor Leste used OSEA as a platform to engage in its first serious attempt to promote Timor Leste’s petroleum activities to the world and attract serious bidders for its seismic survey results relating to oil and gas exploration blocks. Among the exhibitors at OSEA2004 were Moisture Control & Measurement Ltd (MCM), Hydronav, Tyco International, Seismic Asia Pacific (SAP), and SRA. The next edition of OSEA will be held from 5-18 December 2006 at the Suntec, Singapore.
