Oman: oil storage contract

Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd has signed an OMR 6.6 million contract to build a fuel storage tank for a refinery in Oman. The contract is for an additional fuel tank at the Mina Al Fahal refinery. The Mina Al Fahal refinery in Muscat has a capacity to process about 85,000bpd of crude oil. The other refinery located at Sohar has a production capacity of 116,000bpd. Oman has already issued tenders to update and expand both refineries that included the replacement of pipelines, a heat exchanger and installation of a catalyst.
