Olympic Steel’s North Carolina ops gets new GM

Olympic Steel, a national metals service centre, hired James V. Beebe as the general manager of the company’s operation in Siler City, North Carolina.

Beebe brings more than 30 years of experience in the metals fabrication industry with increasing levels of responsibility, including his most recent position as vice president of Business Development for a North Carolina-based full-service armour fabricator.

His expertise spans operations, sales management, quality assurance and strategic planning with an emphasis on metal processing and fabrication – which are key elements of Olympic Steel’s growth strategy. In his new role, Beebe will report to John Brieck, regional vice president – Southern Region.
